Helpful Facilities

Students are sometimes given assignments or research papers, also they have to hand in their term paper it’s usually typed. In such a case, Computer Room which is on the 5^th floor of the 1^st building is very helpful to students who are under pressure from a deadline. They can use computers whenever they want.

 

There are more than a hundred computers (Windows&Macintosh), so students don’t have to look for an unused one. In addition, all computers were replaced with new one in this spring and therefore students can do their work efficiently in a better environment. There are also student assistants, and you can ask them when you have problems with a computer.

Computer Room is open from 9am to 9pm from Monday through Friday. On Saturdays, it is open from 9am to 5pm.

On Sundays and national holidays, it is closed but there are occasionally exceptions, so it might be better for you to check  ‘TIU computer information paper’ which shows when the room is closed monthly.

When you use this room, you have to keep some rules. First, you have to write your name in a user recording note before you start a computer. Second, you must not eat or drink in the room. Most important thing is to consider other people and not talk in a loud voice.

The space, which desks and chairs put in, is nearby the entrance of Compute Room. Students use this place to take a break.

I also use Computer Room to do assignment and sometimes

for fun.

CAFE

There are a lot of places where students like in campus!

Especially, cafeteria must be a place of recreation and relaxation for most of them.

The first campus has three cafeterias-----one is next to Research Center, the others are near 1^st building. In the lunchtime, starved students throng there and enjoy their own time. Cafeterias provide us with various foods such as ramen, udon, curry, set meal and so on. Just you hand a meal ticket to staff, they serve delicious meals with a lovely smile. Of course, breads are sold at reasonable prices.

Students also use cafeteria in their free time. Some do their report, some watch TV, others talk with friends. Everyday students’ joyful laughing voices range throughout there.

 It’s walled almost in glass and the mild sunlight shines 
 in through the windows.

I like cafeterias too, and go there every day.

My favorite food is curryJ It’ spicy and so delicious that I eat this once a week!
